How does a single cell develop into a complex organism? How does this development go awry in
birth defects? Can we model the complex etiology behind birth defects? We are passionate in
our pursuit of these questions as it relates to the head. We use the amazing model systems of
the zebrafish and mammalian cell culture for our analyses. We are always looking for talented
